Decades before precision medicine became mainstream, Dr. Schenter championed targeted isotope therapies for cancer, bone pain, arthritis, and other diseases — believing many treatments could be performed safely on an outpatient basis.

His greatest passion became Alpha Emitters, especially Actinium-225 (Ac-225), which he believed represented the next generation of cancer treatment.
